Great Place to Stay
Hotel was centrally located to many of the attractions. Breaksfast was wonderfully and the staff was extremely helpful.

Great except for the check in
Everything about this hotel was great except the Check-in process. Our room key wouldn’t open the room. So they recoded the keys. Nope. So they got on the phone with the key company, recoded them - nope. I asked for another room, but they said there were none available (the place was empty, but the conflict was for our 2nd nite, a Friday). After 45 min, we went to dinner. When we came back, they had moved us to another room. All went well after that. Excellent breakfast, nice room, etc. The manager gave us 25% off the 1st night for our trouble, which satisfied me. But I think they need to review their process for when it happens again and give the next customer a new room on the 1st try.
We went for the fall color, and were very pleased.

Short business stay
I was only there for about 6 hours due to business, but the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
There’s a nice little lake with a beach down the road--the hotel staff directed me to it for some nice afternoon sun before my flight out that night. Good way to wind down after a full day of meetings.
