decent

shower has a bit of mildew, but overall this was a clean, simple, convenient hotel, close to everything.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Taxi from train station charged CF17 but if you have light luggage, you can easily walk to the hotel. Just ask the travel info desk at the train station for directions to your hotel. Also think twice about making the train trip to Groschingen on a cloudy day: you won’t see anything, and it costs CF38 for a half fare per person.

View of the Matterhorn - spectacular

The staff were all very helpful and friendly, and the hotel in a very central and easily accessible location. Overall, I’d go back in a second.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Make sure you request the room with the view...it is well worth the extra to wake up and see the Matterhorn out your window.
