Hotel Simplon
Recently restored, the Hotel Simplon is surrounded by a secular park, a few metres from the Maggiore lake shore in the heart of Baveno . The Simplon hotel, unique because of its immediately recognizable pink façade recalling the warm colour of the local marble, famous all over the world, has always been very appreciated as a relaxing place where you can regenerate yourself with long walks in the green. The hotel features comfortable and luxurious rooms and suites, an outdoor swimming pool, fully equipped fitness facility, sauna and soccer field. Guests can furthermore access the health centre at the Grand Hotel Dino by walking through the hotel's art gallery. To delight your palate the restaurant will offer you many typical local dishes and a rich wine cellar, while at the bar you can spend pleasant nights with your friends.

Newly remodeled conservative hotel
Oldfashioned, conservative giant hotel palace, yet recently overhauled and remodeled. Very nice and clean rooms. Internet access in room (wireless or fixline) is missing and really a faux-pas nowadays. Rich morning breakfast buffet included. Coffee was waiter served - and we had to wait more than 10 minutes for it, which is a nogo condidering the class of hotel.
Traveler's tip on dining
There’s a pizzeria just across the street with good food at very affordable prices. And a supermarket on the other side which is even open on Sundays.
