Wish I was already back there
Overall I think it was awesome! I would go back. The hotel, the beach, the people, the activities, etc.. everything was Great!!

We stayed at the Grand Oasis for 8 days, 7 nights in June 2009, we loved it and there was 16 of us - all range of ages and everyone had a great time. There is so much to do at the resort, you don’t even have to leave it!! Pools, activities, volleyball, lazy river, etc.... The rooms were clean and always had excellent maid service. The food was really good, there is so much to choose from - Italian, Mexican, American, Dominican - whatever you want! We can’t wait to go back, the beach is out of this world - the ocean water is crystal clear.

not as good as it sounds
toilet was broke and patio door did not lock was told they would move us next day. they gave us run around until 3pm for another room and that room air cond did not work right. people at desk very rude. Buffet food suck nothing but fish and rice and spanish food ,Breakfast was the only meal worth going to buffet for. Beach was filled with topless women every where-- which I didnt appretiate my grandson that is 12 to see. You have to paid a 10 dollar fee per person to enter the D.R. at the border. Things to buy there are way to expensive. Swimming pool water was very oiley feeling from all the sun screen people were putting on. Beach water was green and full of seaweed. Wont go to D.R. again for vacation.
Don’t get shuttle bus from Viator they picked us up in a small mini van with no air cond and it was 100DEGREES. And the driver drove like a nut on the road passing everyone.
