A totally enjoyable experience
Felt as if we were going ’First Class’ all the way!! Very pleasant and helpful staff that seemed truly wanting to see that we felt ’special’ and cared for. We’d stay there again any time.
Traveler's tip on shopping
So many quaint shops in St. Augustine, including a few antiques stores. Many things to see and enjoy!

Better than Expected
The hotel is located in a retail mall on highway A1A. The hotel is a bit nicer than I expected for a Garden Inn, probably having gone through a recent renovation. Typical Hilton room, with a sink area and bathroom located by the front door, minimal furniture (i.e. a chair instead of a sleeper sofa). The hotel offers breakfast and limited room service, but does not serve lunch or dinner. There are some restaurant options close by in the mall, however.

Good, but not a beach hotel
Our only complaint (about the noise from the A/C unit which we had to turn off for one night), was promptly dealt with. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and the housekeeping staff did a really good job. One of the two driers available to guests was out of order for the whole time we were there (five days) and as there was no local laundromat we were a little inconvenienced. All in all a very pleasant stay, but not anywhere near the beach so the name of the hotel is a little misleading.
