Great but get rid of the cigarettes
Except for the smoke smell in the hallway that stuck to our clothes everything was fine. The attentiveness of the staff was excellent.

Nice place to stay
Is north of downtown Springfield but a very short drive downtown. Just moments off the interstate but far enough to be quiet. Rooms clean and spacious. Seperate sink and mirror from bathroom. Microwave and refrigerator. Lobby computer with access to the internet at no charge. No complaints. A nice place to stay.
Traveler's tip on dining
Wonderful Mexican restaurant within walking distance; all others closeby are fast food.

Good basic value.
Staff was courteous, room was clean and well equipped, and most things were well maintained. My only quibble with the room was poor ventilation in the bathroom. Also, the local geese made a mess of what could have been a nice walk around a pond behind the hotel.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
I recommend the Lincoln Presidential Museum in downtown Springfield.

We do clean the walkway on a regular basis, but unfortunately, the battle is an on-going one. I do hope you choose to stay with us again and we will try to make sure you have that walk.
