lovely boutique hotel in a great area of LA
Excellent boutique hotel, a real gem in a great location in LA, 10 to 15 minutes walk from UCLA campus. The rooms are perhaps a bit on the small side (for two people) but otherwise are very charming and nicely decorated; obviously they did a great job with the space available. The decor pieces in the room looked all new and updated in very good taste style-wise. My husband loved the bathroom in particular that was very stylish and spotless clean, same like everything else in this hotel. Highly recommended hotel!!!!
For going out I recommend ’The Irish Times’ Irish pub which is within walking distance (but then me and my husband love walking) and ’The Arsenal’, also within walking distance, (on Pico Blvd).

Hidden treasure!
We had to find a hotel close to UCLA medical center to help a sick relative. Found a treasure right down the street in the Sky Hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, newly redone rooms cozy and nice. I’ll be back!

Hidden Deal
I nearly passed right by the place. Much care has been placed on everything from design to service. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms updated, and service friendly. It is very well priced compared to other properties in the area.

Nice little hotel
We enjoyed staying here for a week. Friendly staff and a relaxed vibe made it very comfortable. The location is great and it’s nice to have direct access to your car rather than bothering with valets. Room was quite nice -- our only complaint was that our only window opened on the courtyard at ground level, but that was just luck of the draw. Recommended!!

Just like the set of Melrose Place
This place is soooo cute, it’s an old apartment style building. Ultra chic with it’s art deco furnishings! Great spot for you and that special person ;) Parking sucks but don’t let that deter you!

Would definitely reccomend
I stayed there for 4 nights in October 2008. The room was small, but very stylish & comfortable. I appreciated the free wi-fi, the plasma tv in the room, the free parking, and the free breakfast every morning. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The location is perfect, you can walk to restaurants or the Westside Pavillion in minutes. Its a great place to stay for 1 or 2 people who want to be well located on the Westside of LA. I will be staying here again the next time I’m in L.A. Much nicer & cleaner than the last place I stayed at the Tower Beverly Hills on Pico.

Everything you’d wish for...
Our 2 weeks stay at Sky Hotel was simply wonderful. Perfect location, great accomodations, superb service, affordable price, not to mention the relaxing atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, always with a smile, making you feel "at home". It’s definitely our no.1 choice for staying in LA. After the "Sky Hotel experience", we wouldn’t go anywhere else. Bravo!

A hotel-want-to-be motel
It’s on Westwood, but feel more like Pico. We had to go out for a Pepsi, they sale wine! sorry, kids. parking is an issue, management is another. For that money bet on real hotels at Century City, trust me on this one!

Great small hotel
Great personal touches, small B&B feel. Very quiet and seqluded. Nice big flatscreens, nice very modern bathrooms. Nice bed. Good location for me because close to Santa Monica.

a remarkable gem
this was my first extended trip to los angeles and i would highly recommend the sky hotel to my friends. the accomodations were immaculate, the location perfect, and the staff professional, warm and genuinely helpful. from the flat screen plasma set,the super hot and clean shower,brand new furniture and a great bed; the room was a bargain at twice the price. the complimentary and comprehensive continental breakfast with all day coffee and snacks was an unexpected treat. add to that the free parking and there was nothing more i could have wished for. there is no way i would stay anywhere else because of the people that work there.
the neighborhood is loaded with great restaurants and a terrific shopping center/movie complex.
