Place to stay during Ironman Week
Management was helpful when I requested being let in two hours early. Only fault was a broken dishwasher. The A/C was strong and the 2 bedroom condo plenty large. Mirrored elevator was always available. Place wasn’t my first choice but for a family it offers a location in a community separate from the downtown if that’s your desire. Don’t forget the access code.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Don’t buy gas locally. Locally Queen’s Marketplace supermarket has a nice sushi selection.

Location great, unit OK (3.5 Star)
In general we (two adults and two teenagers)enjoyed our accommodations. The location within the Waikoloa complex was really good. The Hilton and Marriott properties are both within easy walking distance. In addition, availability of shopping in the King’s and Queen’s shopping areas was good. Groceries within the immediate area are relatively expensive and selection is limited. The condo complex was nicely situated on one of the golf courses. Our unit was quite large. Ours had a view of the fairway and looked east toward the mountains and morning sunrises. Noise from the golf course maintenance equipment was a daily thing early in the morning. The condition of the unit was generally good, although the carpets could use a good cleaning. The kitchen was well equiped. The twin beds for my teenagers were not comfortable. However, the master bedroom bed was very comfortable. The bathrooms were neat but a little tattered and worn. The swimming pool was OK but not impressive (basically a lap pool).
Be sure to walk through the Marriott and Hilton resort properties. The Hilton is built around lagoon and has captive dolphins that can be viewed most anytime. Costco is a couple of miles from the airport and good place to pick up food staples for the week. We purchased snorkeling and boogey board equipment there at a reasonable price.
