Oh What a view
We received a warm welcome after a long travel day from Venice. Our room had a beautiful view of Sorrento and Mt. Vesuvius. The kids immediately jumped into the pool, which had the same lovely view. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, even going out of their way to argue with a taxi driver about an unfair fare. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

very friendly staff - fantastic view of Vesuvius
the best thing about this hotel was the staff. They went out of their way to genuinely take an interest in visitors’ tours, transportation and dining needs. They were extremely courteous and professional. the breakfasts were very nice, the coffee and tea a nice touch. The reason the hotel received a 3 in comfort was due to the beds, which were two twin-sized pushed together (not the best for a couple) and the noise of the hotel through the walls - no sound insulation so incoming tenants coming up the stairs or on the above floor did awaken us several times. Did not get the best sleep.
Traveler's tip on dining
Don Pedro’s restaurant whith which the hotel has an agreement was a bit pricey but very good. Highly recommend it. The busride to and from Sorrento and especially the one to Positano and Amalfi IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. If you can’t do a ferris wheel, don’t take the bus, take a boat! I witnessed one gentleman toss his cookies HALF WAY to Positano. (You’ve been warned.)

Great experience!
The front desk staff was very helpful. The view from the room was beautiful and breathtaking. The partnering restaurants were superb.
