I want to go back to Istanbul just so I can stay at this hotel again.
This is the place to stay in Istanbul. The location is unbeatable. Just around the corner from the Blue Mosque and the Haghia Sofia(?) We were given a free upgrade and loved the room. Old fashioned wood floors. Beautiful top terrace with a spectacular view of the Blue Mosque-esp. at night! The clerks were very friendly-loved them. Breakfast is served upstairs and there is free internet. Aquaint little boutique hotel just steps away from the Four Seasons-but who needs that when you have this hotel!

Great hotel for the money!
Location is perfect. (Although be ready to be up at 5 a.m. because of very annoying and loud call for pray). The staff is very-very nice and helpful. The hotel is clean and well maintained. If I happened to be in Istanbul again (hopefully it will never happen), I would not hesitate to stay at Uyan again.

Clean + good location
4 friends and i stayed here for 6 nights. the hotel’s location was great...easy and safe walk to the main street, tram stop, blue mosque, and aya sofya. the rooms were clean and breakfast was good - lots of choice. rooftop patio was smaller than we thought, but w/ great views, however, the rooftop ’bar’ was non-exisitent. Beware of the CRAZY birds when eating breakfast on the rooftop!
