Nice little gem
This place is very nice. My room was large, comfortable and clean. The best thing about my stay was the peace and quiet of the hotel and surrounding area. It’s off of Munras avenue where all of the similar motels are located, and on a quiet side street in a nice residential neighborhood. It’s also only about a 10 minute walk to downtown. The continental breakfast was only OK, but the staff was very courteous and helpful. I’ve been going to Monterey every year for a conference for about 10 years, and I’ve stayed in several of the hotels and motels, both cheap and expensive, and for the money, this one is the best. by far!

Best place to stay in Monterey
Stayed on a weekend. From the moment I walked in the room, I loved it. The fireplace was nice and a real surprise was the big jacuzzi. I really enjoyed relaxing in there. Great location, easy to find. Would definately come back. Fridge and microwave was great to have also.

clean budget hotel...no frills and just bare basics. was expecting to be closer downtown.
