Nothing Special but Good Location
The hotel is nothing special. The rooms are fine and clean but there are no luxuries. Do not expect little bottles of shampoo in your room or anything like that, but the towels are clean. The staff was friendly and generally helpful. The breakfast was also nice, and with the prices in Reykjavik it was a bargain. The location is nice because it is just as one end of the main shopping district where all the shops and more importantly the restaurants were. It is also down on the harbor which is nice to walk. From the hotel we could walk to the art museums, city center, and just about anywhere we wanted to go.
