A 4 Star hotel only if a Motel 6 is also a 4 star hotel.
This is not a 4-star hotel. I would be curious to find out how it became listed as one. The service was fine, no complaints there. The breakfast was good. The room was terrible. My wife and I are extremely low maintenance. We never complain about anything. At this place, we got to our room, sat there for a few minutes depressed with how much we were paying for this place, then walked door to door at other hotels hoping to find one that had a cancellation so we could move over there. Complaints about the room (a few off the top of my head): - Marks, smears, stains ALL OVER the walls. Im not talking scuffs from carrying luggage or marks down by the baseboards, these are disgusting, unidentifiable smears at various heights on the walls. Like somebody used the walls for the personal napkin over a period of several weeks. - The furniture is old and falling apart. The "desk" had obviously been wet for an extended period of time and the laminate was bubbling off and peeling away. - The shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor. Not just a little bit. - The "satellite TV" that they hyped as a great system consists of about 10 channels on a 15 or so inch dinosaur. - The heated towel rack, another big selling feature of this "4 star" place, didnt work. - The tile in the bathroom was mildewy and cracked. I tried to write many more, but it told me my review was too long.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
buy the baporeto ticket for 24 hours or more if you are going to stay more than one day it is cheaper to go from one place to the other.

A Hidden Gem!
The hotel is modern and beautiful. The staff is friendly and available to help. Excellent complementary breakfast each morning. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.
Traveler's tip
If your flight leaves from Venice as early as 6:30 am, keep in mind that the vaporetto system does not begin operating until about 5:00 am. We ended up walking a few miles with our luggage over at least six bridges to get to the Alilaguna boat stop. In order to make it to the airport on time we left the hotel at about 3:30 am.
