to far from central Madrid
While this hotel is very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is to far from the main tourist attractions. You have to learn to ride the metro train to be able to get from where you are staying to the attractions or get a taxi..The taxi will run you from $25 to $30 Euros depending on where your going and the same amount to get back to this hotel.
To really enjoy Madrid and all it’s beautiful attractions, it is best to stay in the center of the city, everything is walking distance and you won’t have the added expenses of Taxi charges..

Met needs
The hotel met our basic needs and was clean. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was well balanced and attractively presented. Also there were 2 English TV news channels which were nice to have.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
The hotel is not far from the airport, but takes about 1 hour metro ride to get there. The hotel is at the north end of Metro Line 10. We walked through the Hospital parking lot as a short cut to the hotel. We bought a 5 day metro tourist pass at the airport for $37 an traveled unlimited throughout Madrid. The metro were clean and fast with quick connections.
