LOCATION EXACTLY WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR

We were in town for doctors visit. Hotel was very close to our destination (less than 5 minutes from doctors office). Front desk staff was very helpful providing maps for locations we were interested in. Hotel is remodeling, but it was really not a bother for us. Would stay again for repeat visit to doctor.

Traveler's tip for business travelers

When you exit from 59 south enroute to hotel the hotel entrance comes up very quick and hard to get over without having accident. You might want to exit one exit early and take feeder road for easier entrance.

exceeded expectations

I was aware of hotel renovations and got a great deal. Didn’t notice reno’s during stay aside from lack of cafe. Room was very comfortable, nicely decorated, quiet. Hotel Staff were highly accommodating, even assisted me with snack & juice during the afternoon when I was feeling unwell. Courtesy shuttle for local area is a huge added convenience. Would love to stay again.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Take advantage of the courtesy shuttle, to get to the Galleria or out for dinner. The guy also drove me to the airport for a rate cheaper than a taxi, a bonus though as I don’t expect they would be available all the time for this.

Hotel was ok for the money, nothing great. Location was so-so. In the process of a remodel which it needs, although seems like it’s not being kept up that great. Many things were broken or not maintained. Breakfast is additional and heard not so great. No wi-fi except lobby. If you just need a bed, you got it.

Great hotel for the price

The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. The traffic noise at the pool side was very loud.They were doing construction next door starting at 7am that was very loud.

We were staying close to hospital, for medical testing, and were able to save 15.00-20.00 per day using the shuttle service the hotel had to offer.

Great Hotel Close to Town

My husband and I visited Houston and had the chance to stay at the Sheraton. The hotel was clean, but undergoing some construction which really didn’t affect us but was noticable. I think after the remodel is complete it will be an even nicer stay.

Nice rooms

The hotel was under construction and we were not told in advance. The room was nice and had everything we needed. The staff was very nice and helpful as well.

the location of the hotel made it easy to get everywhere. The musuem district made for a great day with the evening ending at the galleria mall.

brief stay

We stayed for one night. At the time of my check in I observed one of the hotel workers in a small computer room off to the side of the check in desk looking at pornographic material on the computer, in full view of who ever maybe checking in.The worker I am referring to appeared to be a maintainence worker or something of that nature.I’m unsure whether the attendant who checked me was even aware because his back was turned from view.

good value for the price

My only issue with the hotel was that I could not find a soda machine that worked. They were all out of product or just out of order. My son had a stomach bug and I was looking for a Sierra Mist to settle his stomach in the middle of the night and I tried every floor. Other than that, the stay was great.

Dangerous Place To Stay

My car got broken into in the parking lot. I met with the staff and they told me it was my responsibility and that they were not responsible for what happened on their property. They told me there were signs, but I didn’t see any. Funny thing was I did not expect them to fix the damage to my car or replace the stolen property. If they had comped my room or just said they were sorry I would have probably been okay. Instead they were just very cold like "shame on you for staying here" and you could tell it was a common occurence and that no one was surprised it happened. Their attitude was like it was my fault and I should be glad I wasn’t in the car when it happened. You have been warned, wish I had been.

Diamond in the Rough

My stay at the Four Points was quite excellent. Despite the lack of big city scenary it’s location was perfectly centered with all the local attractions and communities within minimal driving distance. I was disappointed at the wireless service and lack of parking space but overall it was a great hotel and I proudly recommend it.

Go to the warehous live and visit the U of H campus while there.

Avoid this hotel

Checked in on Thursday after a long flight for a 3 night stay. Hotel faces a major interstate highway. It is not soundproofed and the "double pane windows" they told me about do nohting to keep noise out. Of course they gave me hotel room facing this highway; I heard the noise through my earplugs. I did not sleep the first night. When I asked to be moved the next morning, the dim clerk at the front desk told me I’d have to wait until noon to do that and I would simply have to break off my business meetings early and return to the hotel to get the room I wanted. Finally an adult arrived and I was moved into a room facing away from the highway and I was able to sleep. The hotel needs updating; hallways are dark; even in the quieter rooms you can hear the elevator dinging all night. Why this hotel is a Sheraton, or is as expensive as it is, is a mystery. Not worth it!

Great value. Very good location for our trip.

This hotel is a great value for those needing a good downtown room at reasonable cost. Road noise is high overnight but the rooms are spacious, clean and the service was excellent.

Skip the morning breakfast. Its costly and you might do better at a real restaurant if you aren’t in a hurry.

Non-Smoking Hotel with Guests Smoking in Rooms

The hotel appears like it has not been decorated since the 1980s. Needs major upgrade. Although this was a non-smoking hotel, several guests were smoking in their rooms. If you had an adjoining room, smoke found its way into your room because of the door.

Great hotel for the price

Free wired internet, comfortable bed; this was a great place to stay for the price. Make sure your room doesn’t have a view of the highway since there is nothing one can do to eliminate the noise. The hotel parking lot also looks like a battle zone with lots of potholes and uneven surfaces; something like our high school parking lot. Since the hotel is undergoing a renovation it is hoped that the parking lot is also included in the renovation. The hotel staff was extremely considerate and useful, answering any question posed to them. The room was excellent.

Traveler's tip on dining

Goode barbecue on Kirby on the other side of the freeway. Ask the hotel management about it. There is a typical barbecue restaurant on one side of Kirby and a Mexican version across the street. Both a excellent. Whole Foods is further up on Kirby on the hotel side of the freeway.

Good choice

this hotel is a good option for any traveler, rates are affordable, air conditioning is excellent and has a nice lobby, with FREE internet access and a nice bar until 11pm. there were some issues with the cleaning schedule, but nothing that cannot be solved upon a call to front desk, who by the way, were the nicest persons, close to the galleria mall and at walking distance from cvs pharmacy, hooters, ihop, etc. it also has a nice little restaurant and café, mainly for breakfast, at good prices, check in and check out were real quick and flawless.
