OK but nothing special
The hotel is in a fairly good location, gives a fair first impression. The evening clerk was very helpful with all questions we asked. The room was very basic, just a small table, a tv, bed, 2 nightstands and a fridge which was on the carpet with the ice bucket on top of it. Not very appealing. The bathroom was just basic with a very noisy toilet when flushed. The continental breakfast was also very basic with packaged sweets and some sugared cereal in boxes. We chose to go to the nearby McDonalds for breakfast instead. Also, the morning clerk paid no attention to us at all, not even a greeting. The only conversation we had was during checkout and even then it was very minimal. I don’t think the hotel is worth the price, it should be priced 30% less. It’s not terrible but not the greatest either.

We had dinner at the El Bravo Mexican restaurant on Donner Pass Rd. which was excellent.

Good hotel but noisy
The hotel is old but a nice place to visit tahoe. The breakfast is good too with a large choice of pastries and tea. But the higway near the hotel is busy and so the room is a little bit noisy Did
