Will stay again next time
Nice bath, clean, good size room for Europe. good service, concierge was very helpful. - The hotel is away from the main tourist areas and quiet. The Hotel is a short walk to the Vaporetto and several good restaurants. All the action is 10 minutes away. If your not familiar with Venice, get transport from the airport to the hotel prearranged, its expensive but worth it. Hotel breakfast was pretty good but limited for American tastes.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Stay away from the tourist areas as much as possible during the height of the day and seek out the locals. Walk around at night and check out the local hangouts and restaurants.Buy a vaporreto pass and visit the islands.Spend at least 3 or 4 days and walk everywhere.

Empty promises
I stayed in this hotel for a long weekend. Great location but poor service and terrible room. Our room was on the basement, smelled bad and was terribly dark. Service in this hotel was below expected standards. Except the location, this place is not worth its price.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Great neighbourhood in Venice to walk around out of masses of turists.

Very romantic stay
The staff was welcoming and helpful, they reccomended an excellent resteraunt. Hotel had elegant decor and nice sitting areas. The room was clean and cozy, most hotel rooms in Venice are small. It is set in a very quiet neighborhood, away from the tourist areas. They are a short walk or vaporetto ride away. We loved the location, we felt like we had venice to ourselves. It was wonderful and very romantic to wander around and hardly see a another person.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Meals an shopping were better an cheaper away from tourist areas. Same items, just better prices. Stay away from the tourist menus, low quality. In the morning, gondolas are cheaper an less boat traffic, at night the price goes up. If you take the vaporetto to the airport you cant use the regular pass, it requires special pass. It only stops at a couple stops, runs once an hour. Check with your bank, we got better exchange rates at ATM than the exchange booths. McDonalds has free WiFi.
