Okay, not fabulous
The room was clean, but the layout was odd: about 18 inches between the beds and wall to get in/out of the room or into the bathroom; the bathroom door cleared the countertop by only a half inch, so the door had to be fully open or fully closed to allow you to move from the sink to the shower; the toilet tank cover hit the wall and made noises each time you sat down, even after I put a towel under the tank cover and tried to sit as slowly and quietly as possible.

The Best Place to stay in Augusta
When we arrived the staff could not have been more accommodating. We will always stay at the Senator when we visit Augusta.

very disappointed
i am very familur with this hotel and what it has to offer and what used to be great amenities. However they ow have two parts of the hotel one being new and nice and the other needing repair and updating. I also specifically requested a room on the quiet side of the hotel and that was on my registration signin card. However i was put in a room on the noisy street side with delivery trucks passing at all hours. Room needed updating with missing tiles, stained carpets, old beds, outdated furnishings.

if you choose to stay here ask for a room in the newer section of the hotel near the fitness center area.
