Beautiful Sunrise
This was our first time to Trinity Beach, the hotel was nice and clean, the staff was very helpful. We stayed on the 3rd floor in a studio. It had a semi kitchen, table chairs, coutch, balcony with table/chairs etc... If you book a room request the third floor or higher and get up early to watch the sunrise over the ocean, you will be pleased. Trinity Beach is easy to access from the hotel and they have a few food places along the beach.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Food is very expensive in Australia so go to the grocery store in Smithville at the mall (about 10 minutes). A rental car is a must if you want to get around the area. We booked a Car through Expedia for the best deal we could find. If you like water take a trip out to the Great Barrier Reef; shop around lots of good companies go out to the reef.

Amaroo at Trinity Beach
The location of the hotel on the ocean was incredible with a view that was divine. Very convenient and walkable to local restaurants (though there were very few); however, our toilet did not work properly for our entire stay and the shower was a bit moldy in appearance. Despite this, the location and view were extraordinary and we would return.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
A trip through the Atherton Tablelands is worth your time. Be sure to stop at the dairy for its wonderful yogurt and ice cream, as well as cheese. Also, dont miss the Daintree Rainforest while there.

Relaxing beach retreat
Spent six nights at Amaroo and loved every minute of it. Family suite is an ideal setup, giving parents and kids their own space. Rooms were comfortable and nicely appointed; nothing fancy but more than adequate for a family stay. Staff is marvelous and did a great job arranging tours and airport pickup and return. Views from balcony outstanding and beach, bus stop and restaurants all just a short walk away. Great value for the money. Would definitely stay again.
Traveler's tip on dining
Plenty of dining choices on the Esplanade; Trinity Beach Bar and Grill serves a nice breakfast.
