Horrible
This hotel stay started by as I arrived a group of men were (loitering) outside smoking and drinking. The room was not clean, repairs were needed, the inside door bolt did not work, an airconditioner knob was missing and it was dirty. There was dried urine on the front of the toilet and what appeared to be urine spots on the floor next to the toilet. The clock next to the bed had a short, it would come on and then go off. The AC was very loud and being a wall unit diffiult to keep the room a comfortable level. For the price I paid I expected better. I was in Flagstaff to help my son get settled for college, I actually found a diffent location for my second night there and checked out, which was a waste of money. I have stayed in Rodeway Inns before and found them to be a nice middle of the road place to stay, this was not the case in Flagstaff. I will be in Flagstaff a lot of the next four years, I will not be returning to the Rodeway Inn.

Bring earplugs... and maybe your toolbox
The good: Great price, service was fine. This is what keeps it from getting the lowest rating. The bad: Everything is falling apart. I was worried that i would accidentally break our door or doorjamb by pushing it too hard while it was closed. The ugly: Not sleeping due to twice-hourly LOUD trains across the street.

You Get What You Pay For
No ice machine - had to ask manager on duty to fill ice bucket from another room. Could not sit comfortably on toilet. Gap where front door met door jamb. Could hear neighbors talking late into the night. Toilet paper roll holder not affixed well; toilet paper roll fell off repeatedly. Fan in bathroom sounded like a jet engine. Air conditioner seemed broken. Staff (esp. housekeeping) v. nice. Coffeemaker worked exceptionally well. Small fridge, microwave, cable included.
