Will stay again!
All areas of the hotel were very clean! People at the front desk were quick to help and very friendly. Only complaints were small pool & hot tub and the thin walls. We could hear neighbors talking as well as their TV. However, the location is super and we will stay there again!

Very nice
This hotel is apparently brand new. And the location is great. Right across the street from Oktoberfest grounds, Freighhouse Restaurant, and within walking distance to our favorite bar/restaurant, Piggy’s. Cross the back parking lot and you’re at the LaCrosse Queen dock. Can’t beat it. The icemaker in the fridge was loud, but we just shut it off at night. And the AC was loud, but not enough to keep us awake, once we figured out what it was. People playing basketball or little kids playing on the play structure early in the morning can be annoying if you’re on that side of the building, and if you’re not a morning person. (We’re not)
Traveler's tip on nightlife
Don’t miss Piggy’s for a nice place to eat or listen to a band, Waterfront for a nice place to sit outside and have a drink, or the Freighthouse. This hotel is within stumbling distance from all the 3rd/4th street bars. And it is seriously right across the street from Oktoberfest grounds.

Great place to stay!
We really liked the GrandStay Residential Suites in La Crosse. We stayed one night. For a family of five, our room was plenty big - and clean! The location was nice - close to the river. The cost via Expedia was great. We paid much less than the normal going rate. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Next time we go to La Crosse, we would stay two nights. The breakfast was OK. Nothing fancy, but just fine for us. We aren’t too picky. One complaint - the pool was way too small! It was almost funny.

Be sure to go to Pearl St. for ice cream! Our kids said it was the best they ever had.
