Just what we needed
We were satisfied with this hotel. We had the triple, and while it was small it suited our needs perfectly. We needed a clean, quiet place to sleep and shower while we explored the French countryside, and we got that for a very reasonable price. We’ve paid much more for small, dingy places in Europe...this place is small, but it’s clean, bright and the front desk clerk was very helpful. We did not get the breakfast, there were plenty of cafes/pastry shops open (not on Sunday) to get something to eat.
Traveler's tip
There are at least 2 parking lots near the hotel...if you park at the Bourse parking garage, be aware that it is closed (doors closed and locked) overnight and all day on Sunday.

modest hotel great location
The hotel is located along the Seine in Rouen and is a block away from the famous Cathedral of the Monet paintings. If you are staying for a quick tour of historic Rouen, then it is an inexpensive modest place to stay with a great location. If you are looking for luxury accomodations, look elsewhere. The rooms were drab and undecorated - although the Bathroom was clean and the shower was fine. They serve continental breakfast, but you are better off walking around the block where there are 7 patiseries and coffee shops.
