World’s Biggest Hot Tub
The Highlander is an older motel that has been newly refurbished. The pool has been turned into a hot tub. Very low ceilings in bathroom and sink area on first floor. Parking area is not paved. If you just need a place to sleep, it is fine. Otherwise, stay at one of the other lodges on the estate for more upscale offerings.

Not too impressed
My boyfriend and I went for a three day getaway to hit the downhill mountain bike trails at Boyne. When we arrived there Friday we were told the lift for the trails closed at 7 and only was open for a half day on Saturday. And Sunday the lift was not opened at all. Big disappointment!!! We expressed our concern with the front desk but they really didn’t care much.

Good for relaxation - a little remote for business

Plenty of golf in summer and nearby skiing in winter. Families abounded.
