Great location to see the best of Ravenna
The hotel was reasonably priced (off season, end of October), great location from which to walk to the churches and other buildings with the renowned mosaics from the 5th and 6th centuries as well as museums and restaurants. The recommendations for restaurants made by the hotel personnel were very good. The breakfast buffet had a variety of cheeses and meats, juices, fruit, yogurt, a wide selection of breads and rolls...healthy and more than sufficient for the needs of the traveler who doesn’t need the 5 star hotel fare. It was well worth the price for a moderately priced 3 star hotel. Would recommend to anyone comfortable with 3 star hotels.
If you are driving, make sure you have maps (or GPS) of th e city, there are a lot of one way streets in the downtown area.
