Acceptable
A small room with tiny bathroom on the corner of the hotel. The staff was pleasant and the hotel was clean. The sheets were not the most comfortable and the street noise was average for a downtown hotel. The hotel has much better rooms for higher prices. I don’t think i would stay in this small room again.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
The downtown area can be expensive. There is a small hole in the wall wine bistro a block away from this hotel (ealisy within walking disctance) that offers excellent house wines and beer for a few dollars a glass. I have been told that this is a historic bar in the Houston area. It’s not big, and looks like its been around since the 1800’s, but the quality and prices cannot be beat.
