poor service
Fold out bed not comfortable Safe broken-never fixed Unkowledgeable staff Critical wake up call did not happen. When I told staff about problem they said- Its not my fault- not I’m sorry. Never heard - have a nice day or can I do anything to help. Only one staff member was service savy.

Very good option for Paris
I had a short stay in Paris (my first) and this hotel was very good, considering if you want to pay low prices, it’s a real option. The only problem is the distance, however using the Subway you can get to the main atraction (Effeil Tower, Louvre Mussean) in 45 minutes. It is very clean (excep the carpet) and comfortably.
Traveler's tip
If you do not want to pay a taxi cab from CDG airport to this hotel (at least 50 euros) for less than 9 you can arrive using the RER train service and then the above ground small train (Tamway) I suggest to get off in Cite Universitaire and then change to Tramway and get off in Porte dItalie station From this point you will walk about 8 minutes to Novotel. Using other options (Metro) you will walk a lot in the Metro corridors; with your luggage could be very problematic the stairs.

Better Than We Expected
Location is not all that good. You have to take the metro to the tourist areas of Paris, its about 20 minutes on the subway. But we chose the hotel based on the low price so we didn’t have very high expectations. It was very nice and very clean. The food at the hotel was not that great and the places to eat nearby were not either but realistically you spend most of your time away from the hotel anyways. But as for a clean nice room, it was fine.

For those iPhone users out there, downtown Paris Metro 2go or any Paris Metro map. You can chose the station you are at and the station you would like to go to and it will tell you the quickest way to get there!
