not impressed at all

the room was fairly clean but other areas were not like outside entry way room was very small by today standards and had no micro or frig the price we paid was ok for the place as it was a promotion but would not pay normal price or would not go back the place needs a lot of work inside and out

Holy Horrors

The very worst hotel that I’ve stayed in. The hallways were dirty with cigarette butts which were never sweeped up. The elevator was dirty and the button was a piece of wood which was glued over the elevator button. The floor was covered with some unknown black/green carpet with a huge green circle of paint in the middle. The furniture was pretty beat up with deep scratches. Even the toiletries were partially used. Don’t go there!!!!!

Don’t eat in the neighborhood. We went to a local well known eatery, and came away with food which was very substandard and frequented by personalities which were questionable.

Clean room, comfortable bed, nice continental breakfast. The TV remote did not work.

A very bad part of town...

This hotel was very close to down town Charlotte but in a very bad part of town. In first night I stopped by a local diner for some dinner and was told that the hookers would be out shortly and it was extremely dangerous to be out after dark. I did find this to be true. There was also late night parting by the pool area and not a real savory group of people were being extremely loud with music and fireworks. Now Im no wimp6 2 250lbs This is Not a Safe Area.

Great price but...

Worst stay ever

Me and my husband stayed here on our honeymoon to save money and it was horrible. there was no refrigerator and the floor was soaked with water. We left a day early than scheduled. Don’t stay.

Never Again

Very disappointed. The pool was not accessable,the shower curtain rod was broken, the sink was stopped up and would not drain, no phone book in the room. I planned to stay two nights but checked out after one and went to another hotel.

Decent Stay for one night

Stayed here for one night while attended NASCAR event. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, slept well. Hallways were really hot and ice would met before you could get back to your room. Check in and out was easy with Expedia. Breakfast = OK? I guess we actually went to local restaurant for more variety. Convenient to downtown and race attractions.

Save for something better

Lets just say my wife and I were scared to fall asleep each night. We wore flip flops and my feet hit the floor one time and it just didnt feel right. Can’t stay there again.

DO NOT STAY!

There are no savings over walking in off the street, the bathtub was scummy, the ac/heat unit was broken, just not at all a good value for the money. I was extremely disappointed!

Great Value For The Money

I have stayed at this hotel three times and have enjoyed my stay each time. The hotel is right next to I-85 (which could cause some noise issues for some people) and close to restaurants and services. The rooms are good sized and clean and the cable has more channels than any hotel I’ve been in (98 at last count!) If you like an inside corridor be sure and request a room on the third floor; floors one and two are outside corridor. An excellent value!

Needs a Makeover

It was a nice facility at onetime,however needs a face lift. Room had a musty smell. Bathroom sink was clogged up. Paint was pealing outside. bath tub looked dirty.

kinda dirty

there were a few fairly minor things about the hotel. when i first got in my room and tried to turn on the TV, the remote was dead. i had to go get another one from the main office. once i took a shower i noticed more things in the bathroom. the bottom of the tub was very slippery. they need to have some kind of mat on the bottom. the curtain railing was dropping and almost coming off of the wall. there was actually a piece of gum near the corner of the curtain railing. the outside of the hotel looked fine and the bed was comfortable enough. they could definitely use some more landscaping.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

i went to northlake mall and watched a movie. a beautiful theater for only $5!! i also went to discovery place downtown. it was easy enough to find parking. the Imax theater was really neat. it closed right when we got there. go before 1 or 2pm to make sure you see everything they have to offer.

Decent, Cheap Hotel

This hotel wasn’t the grandest place I’ve ever stayed but for the purpose of a cheap place to stay it worked. The hotel was nice but the carpets need replacing but the rooms were clean and comfortable. I would def. recommend it as it is has a good location to get food and close to just about anywhere you would probably need to go.

We had a great time but...

The only thing that was a miss was the continental breakfast. They ran out of waffles which they advertised in the hotel manual you receive upon arriving. That would have been no big deal to us but it was to the kids. Overall though everything else was perfect especially the maid service.

Just OK

Perfect location, but had to go to front desk for toilet paper - no extra roll allowed? First day got new towels, but never emptied the garbage or took old towels out. Did get extra pillows I asked for though.

Charlotte - Ramada Northeast

This hotel is a handy and inexpensive place to stay. They have a great breakfast served daily until 9:00 AM which you should be sure to take advantage of. The rooms were generally clean and in decent condition.

My Stay

I enjoyed my stay at the Ramada Northeast. For future visits to Charlotte I plan to use the same Hotel.

Loved it !! Will stay again if we go to another football game.

It was really nice. There was plenty of parking. And the staff were so nice. The free breakfast had awesome, Bannana Nut Muffins, and when we checked out that next morning and told the lady how great the muffins were she went and got us some to enjoy on our ride back home. Seriously, I haven’t ever had such friendly a staff at any motel as I had here and we have traveled many places and overseas. Thanks so much...

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

We came to see an NFL game and I wanted to do some shopping. Just ask the staff and they will give you printed directions to where ever you want to go. Have a great time...

Great price and friendly.

The hotel stay was enjoyable. The night clerk was very friendly and clear about the accomodations. Would recommend to others. Great price with easy access to interstates.

Not my cup of tea....

We had to change our room because of dust mites in the bed. The floor carpet was dirty and looked like it was stained and old. The TV was placed in a way that it was uncomfortable to look at while in bed. The hotel is located in an area where the gas station just around the corner has been robbed more than once. Would not want to stay there again.

Traveler's tip on dining

If you are looking for a good Italian restaurant in the area I would suggest Amalfie Pasta and Pizza which a local talked highly about to us. We ate dinner there and found the quality of the food to be very good and went back for pizza the next day which was delicious. Nice people own it.
