Quiet, trendy hotel away from the hub-bub
Impressive contemporary art-deco lobby and bar. Free Internet available on one computer. Nice (not luxurious), clean, quiet rooms. Beds were ok - definitely not Heavenly-brand or similar. My only complaint is that the shower had only a partial door which made for a messy, water-sprayed floor afterward. We didn’t try the bar or breakfast (available for a hefty additional cost).
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Stay here and pay less than you would for a hotel located downtown. Take the train (located just down the block) to get downtown. You can buy a pass for up to 5 people for cheap and it’s only 2-3 stops down the line. Bypass the breakfast offered for a cost at the hotel and grab some yummy pastries, etc. at the train station instead.

Not Impressed
The hotel looks better on expedia website. It is clean and quiet and close to the S-bahn. The down side is there were 3 or 4 mornings/nights that hot water was not available. The pillows on the bed were flat as pancakes. The AC only worked if the windows are closed correctly. There were a couple of days where we couldnt get that to happen. The staff were courteous and helpful but we would not stay again.

Not impressed
At a glance, the room looked nice, but was not maintained well. The drainage was bad, no Englisha TV program were available, safety box was broken, in addition, the customer service was insufficient. We’ll look for other hotels when we go to Munich next time.
