Do not stay here
We checked into this hotel because it was described as "pet-friendly." The woman at the front desk was terse and inhospitable. Our room did not have enough towels or any soap, forcing us to buy the latter. The sheets on the beds were of poor quality and had many rips and tears. The following day we left our fifteen pound dog in his crate in our room for three hours. Upon return, we were met in the hall by the staff and informed that we were being forced to leave because our dog had been heard whining and scratching in his cage. They also claimed that he had been barking despite the fact that he does not. The dog in the room next door had been barking for much of our stay and we were told that that room would also be asked to leave. We received no warning, and they had not asked for a phone number upon check-in, so we know that no effort was made to contact us to address the situation. The staff informed us that it is their policy that after a single complaint, they immediately ask the guests in that room to leave. We were also told that we would have to pay for the following night that we were now not staying. The staff stated that many dog owners have been kicked out of their rooms recently, and that many train passengers stay at their hotel during the day and try to sleep. This seems to be a conflict of interest since basically every dog makes some sort of noise and the hotel is not arranged so as to accomodate these different groups. I would not recommend staying here.
