Excellent for the congress center
High class hotel, comfortable and large rooms, excellent maintenance. Very very close to the congress center a big shopping mall (1 minute).

Perfect location
You have to look for parking, but the garage is very low priced to park in...and very close. Shopping center and train station are close.

Great for Octoberfest
We booked this hotel way in advance and got a great rate from expedia. The hotels near Octoberfest in Munich are outrageously priced. The hotel is right at a U-bahn stop and so was convenient to travel all over the city. The mall right next door has a nice food court, and really good restaurant for traditional German food and beer(Kind Ludwig). Breakfast in the hotel is expensive, but ate there 1 morning of our 3 night stay and the buffet was good and had a lot of variety. The other mornings we enjoyed going to the bakery next door and just having pastries and coffee. Our room was modern, very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was pleasant and very helpful. My only complaint was that housekeeping took our dirty coffee cups and never replaced them. If you used the instant coffee/tea provided in your room, they did not replace them and charged if you want any more. Certainly a minor annoyance in what was a wonderful stay.
