A DC GETAWAY WITH THE KIDS.....
Cant beat the price for the quality.A short ride to all tourist locations ,and right up the street from historic Georgetown.A 4 block walk to the National Cathedral and free underground parking.Like I said ,you cant beat it,especially if its a quick getaway with the family.

Comfortable, good quality price ratio and good benefits
The rooms were comfortable and nice and the beds were wonderful. We had a kitchenette which was useful for breakfast in the morning since breakfast wasnt included and for keeping drinks cold (essential in the summer). There are laundry facilities and vending machines downstairs as well as an underground parking garage (very tight if you have a large car) and a free shuttle which takes you to the Woodley Park/Zoo Metro stop which is on the Red Line. The shuttle only runs in the morning and late afternoon to night but not in the middle of the day. The rooms were a bit dark which didnt bother me in the summer because it was so hot but could be a negative in other seasons if you are looking for light. The first week we were put in a room at the back so it was quiet if you opened the windows but the view was a bunch of trees so when you looked out you saw nothing at all. The second week we were in a room overlooking Wisconsin Ave which was a little better because you could see something. The location is good because you can either drive out or take the shuttle to the Metro and you are not in downtown. There are lots of eating places around. The breakfast buffet is very good quality but expensive. They have an outdoor terrasse cafe.
There is a great playground/park one block down from the hotel on Wisconsin Ave good for younger kids with jungle gyms and sand pits and a basketball court for playing around in off time. Right next to the park is a Whole Foods grocery store. Just one more block down is a CVS and the for eating out, one of the best sushi restaurants in Washington is on that same block as well as a couple of pizza places, bagel and ice cream.
