Staff is exceptional
Upon checking in I realized that I had left my passport in the safe at the last hotel I stayed in Manual Antonio. The staff were extremely professional and very helpful in making sure that my passport was delivered safely. I can’t thank them enough for the service and calm influence they had over me. The room was also spectacular! Comfortable, clean and such a great retreat after a really long drive encountering horrible San Jose traffic. Kutos to Hotel Grand de Oro!!
Traveler's tip
Beware of traffic in San Jose, one way streets and no streets signs - it can be a nightmare and I consider myself gifted in directions!

Really a nice place
I was at this hotel years ago and boy has it grown up! Beautiful restaurant, lobby and rooms. The front desk staff could be a little nicer. I will never understand why the staff at some nice hotels think they are more important than the guests. Restaurant was spot on. You won’t regret your stay here.

Great service, great food, very romantic
Stayed here with my wife on our honeymoon. Very friendly staff and amazing food at the restaurant. Only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.
