Great hotel!
I heard that a lot of people stay in Positano when visiting the Amalfi coast, but I am so glad that we stayed in Amalfi and at Il Saraceno instead. Positano was beautiful but Amalfi is just as beautiful without the extra crowds and for a little less money. Il Saraceno was about a 10 minute cab ride from Amalfi, but the hotel runs a regular shuttle to and from town during the day and at night. This hotel was clean and safe, as well as beautifully situated in the mountainside.
Traveler's tip
Taking public transportation to and from Amalfi from other areas of Italy can be very difficult and frustrating. Definitely plan ahead.

Romantic venue
Hotel wad beautiful inside and out. The hotel restaurant was very good, and the folks working in the hotel were friendly and very helpful. The beach was grat, except that a public beach was right next door, and many boats anchor outside the beach, making a long swim a bit treaterous in the summer vaction months. Air conditioning outside your room and dining room was non-existent, though, and in August, this is a problem.

Fantastic Hotel, Great Service!
My friends and I loved this hotel and the staff. They were very service oriented and the rooms were very nice. Prices were good. Would recommend to all my friends
