It was fabulous!
We were scared to be in such an exotic city, but felt immediately at home. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Their English was excellent. They took such good care of us; arranged for taxis, tour guides, everything. I recommend it so highly to anybody who wants a "home" while in St. Petersburg.

Just excellent
The hotel is not the cheapest but definitely worth of its rates. Very good and helpful service, speaking English is not a problem, and very good location - actually walking distance to all major points of interest (Newskij Prospect, Hermitage, others). Canvas restaurant in this hotel serves excellent food (with home made pasta) however prices are not low (especially if you order wine).

Great Hotel
The hotels rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel is only a few blocks from the Hermitage and right across the street from St. Isaac’s Cathedral. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone.
