Great stay
We have had consistently good experiences when we have stayed at Country Inn and Suites in several states and the Des Moines West site proved to be excellent. The room and breakfast were great and the desk clerk was most helpful. She provided a map to recommended restaurants and, since the refrigerator in the room did not contain a freezer, she graciously put our blue ice packs in the kitchen freezer so that they would be ready to go in the morning.
A side trip to Winterset and the bridges of Madison County was well worth the time.

Great Place to Stay
We went to Des Moines for a High School Band competition. We didn’t get to sign in until midnight, but the staff were wonderful! They offered us cookies and got us signed in quickly. The next morning we had a hot, delicious breakfast and again at check out the staff were great, friendly and personable. The room was roomy and comfortable. We will definately stay there again if we are in the area!

Our favorite
This was the second time we stayed at this hotel in west Des Moines. We loved it at both times! It was clean and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast provided peace of mind to us as we did not need to leave the hotel to look for breakfast. The selection was good as well. The hotel and the room were clean and well kept. We will go back again!
