Great Hotel at Budget price
The Aqua Palms is located virtually on Waikiki Beach. The rooms are old but perfectly livable. Dont use their parking though, its $20 a day! Don & Mellie
Bellows Beach is a great day-trip from Waikiki.

Great Stay!!
This hotel had all the ammenities we were looking for. We were watching our budget, but wanted this trip to be special (15th anniversary). Staff was helpful and courteous. There were apples and ice water offered at all times, in the lobby. Quite refreshing in warm, humid weather. The only downside was having to ask the desk for extra rolls of TP, after the room had been serviced. Room was a bit tight for a king bed, but OK for just the two of us.
Parking is costly ($20/day) so use the bus. There is a bus stop just a short distance from the hotel and Route 8 does a continuous loop between Waikiki and Ala Moana Mall (transit center), every half hour. Spend $5 for a bus route at the ABC and get to know the territory. We should have bought the 4 day pass at the beginning of our trip. The Wailana Coffee Shop is just down the block, open 24 hours.
