The View is awesome!!!!

We loved the view and the rooms. The food at the restaurant was a bit over priced as were the drinks. The only complaint we had was that we saw ants in our kitchen on our first night. Maintenance came up 5 minutes after we called and sprayed the area and it wasn’t an issue after that. They have multiple pools and two relaxing hot tubs. The staff at the desk was great and even gave us some coupons for restaurants outside of the hotel. Overall it was a great place and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay.

Oceanfront in Daytona

Customer service was low. Restaurants closed early. Wonderful kitchenette but when cl;eaning room they would not clean dirty dishes? Maybe it was all because it was off season still? This could be a really nice resort with some changes.

BEST HOTEL IN DAYTONA

From the moment we entered the hotel everyone was genuinely friendly, and helpful. Our one bedroom suite was clean and very nicely decorated. Our 2 sink bathroom was huge! The pools, spa, laundry room, and sauna were all clean and working. I think we used every amenity they had available, and each one met our expectations. We did our research before booking. We knew that it was a green hotel, so we were not expecting fresh towels each day. We knew that there was a resort fee, and that there was a hundred dollar hold on my credit card acct when I checked in. So when you research there are no surprises.I was skeptical about eating or cooking out cookware that was supplied by the hotel,even that was great! We ordered food poolside, and purchased products from the spa, and was able to charge it to the room. I didn’t have to carry cash or credit cards around the resort. Across the street is Publix, Walgreens, Payless, Dollar tree, licquor store,every thing you need wiithin walking distance. Our stay was PERFECT. We will be back again next year!

Pleasant Stay

Hotel and room clean (big priority). Offered many extra amenities (workout room, two jacuzzis, etc). Big plus was walking distance to grocery store and restaurants. Had their own parking garage which was great! No additional charge and offers some protection against the salt air. Staff always accomodated us when we asked for special items. Would recommend staying in the North section unless you have children. South side has kids pool. Only negative was we asked for ocean front with private balconey, which we got but it was on the ground floor...we could not see the beach! The pools and patio areas blocked the view from ground floor. Recommend second floor or higher if you want a view of the ocean and beach. Would definitely go back...just on higher floor!

Would like to go back as soon as possible or when I can afford it.

Wonderful place to stay, everything was just wonderful. Very clean rooms and pools. I would recommend this motel for anyone looking for a place to stay in the Daytona Beach/Ormond Beach area.

Absolutely fabulous beachfront hotel

Oh boy, the lobby was impeccable. The staff courteous. Ultra clean hotel, true class operation. Room luxurious and oh so fantastic view of the ocean. Pool super clean. I wish most hotels were as well run as this one.

Wonderful Honeymoon Destination

This hotel was extremely high end for the price range. the service was exceptional and everything was very clean. The beds were so comfortable I wanted to take one home with me! The bar and grill in the pool area has amazing coconut shrimp and mixed drinks!

Traveler's tip on local attractions

There is a Bubba Gump Shrimp not too far from the hotel. It is a must! If you can, sit at the bar and eat a little later than usual. THe service is wonderful!

Very nice ocean front room, spacious, clean, kitchen area at reasonable room rates. Friendly and helpful staff and very nice ammenities. Plenty and very accessable parking spaces. Ample and clean pools and pool areas.

GOING BACK IN 3 WEEKS

THIS RESORT WAS WELL PRICED AND VERY ENJOYABLE. THE STAFF WAS VERY PLESANT AND HELPFULL. I HAVE DEFINATLY FOUND A NEW PLACE TO SPEND MY BEACH VACATIONS.

From check-in to the last day, I was very pleased. The bed was very comfortable,linen changed when asked. Had to request balcony furniture, but overall, the staff was very friendly, one particular young man would greet me by my name each time I would come to the front desk to request anything (eg: beach towels etc...)I thought that was quite special...most hotel staff don’t usually take the time to learn their guests’ name. The ocean front view was breathtaking to behold each morning. I would recommend this hotel, you can’t go wrong here! Enjoy!

A mall accessable just across the street to pick up necessary items to be used in your room, a great saver for families with children if you didn’t want to eat out every day.

nice place to stay in daytona

i stayed in a ocean front room and on my scale of 1-10 i would give it a 5 but if you get the ocean front with the private balcony those rooms are much nicer!! i would give them a 7 1/2. the hotel has 2 very nice pools outside and in the early after noon you start getting some shade in pool area which is very nice. parking is great you can park on the floor you are staying on and walk into that level for the rooms and takes your room key to enter building. they have a nice indoor pool and 2 hot tubs. they also have a sauna but i did not check it out myself. the dishes were actually nice and new looking and clean. pots and pans newer but real cheap. over all very nice place to stay!!

the location is great with the plaza right across the street and has a nice stop light crosswalk to get there. in the plaza is a new buffet (8/09) very reasonable and great food. there is a Chinese restaurant reasonable but not an all you can eat and only has a hand full of tables(very small inside). its always nice to have a Walgreens and publix there as well.

Gorgeous Remodeled Hotel with all amenties!

The service could be improved. They forgot the water almost daily and the number of towels needed. However, once we asked, they were eager to deliver! Other than that, the hotel was very comfortable and convenient and clean and new. We would definitely go back again!

A wonderfully relaxing weekend

The Daytona Beach Resort and Conference Center is a very comfortable and clean hotel. Right on the beach at Daytona, the rooms as spacious, well appointed and the rest rooms were very clean. We very much enjoyed our stay and will go back.

There are many enjoyable places to see and visit, but our favorite was the Kenendy Space Center. Ihe Center is full of things to do and see by the entire family. We are in our 50’s so seeing the exhibits brings back many memories of the "space race" and the triumphs and tragedies of our Nations reach for the stars.

Would stay again-clean

This was a family trip with 3 young children. They loved the pools, children’s pool and the beach! The hotel was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. Shopping (grocery and clothes) was across the street and you could grab a bite out at Subway or Ruby Tuesday. We had a suite with a kitchenette and the only complaint would be there was no dishwasher so all dishes were done by hand on vacation. Yuck! Other than that, we would stay again.

If you go south on the main road, Congo Golf was an awesome miniture golf facility. They have a hidden "treasure hunt" on the course and if you find all the items you get coupons or free golf at the end of your game. But feed the little alligators after golf for you will probably receive a coupon for $ off the feed.

Nice One

FYI - The Ocean Front Studios are very nice and clean and have private balconies. The Ocean Front Standards are not as nice, still clean, smaller and have shared hallway balconies.

Ok place to stay

The front desk staff was very understaffed. I felt that they could have explained some of the amenities better and the fact that room cleaning was haphazard and not routinely done. In other words, they cleaned at different times throughout days. Never vacuumed once during 6 day stay.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

No recreational activities available at this hotel. You had to go far away before nearest water sport was even available. The hotel was not helpful in finding different transportation or even suggestions for customer. Very weak in service due to low number or no number of guest service personnel.

Great Hotel with nice amenities

My Daughters and I went for the weekend and had a great time. Beautiful place, very well kept and run very professionally

This is a nice area because it is away from the pier area but not to far to travel to.

excellent hotel million-dollar view from beachfront room/w private balcony. the beds could have been a little more comfortable and the advertised 2-queen beds were actually full size but other than that a memorable stay.

If youre vehicle has a topper ,be sure to see if it will clear the parking garage entrance max height requirement . If not you will pay an additional 5.00/day for surface parking.

nice place to stay

We enjoyed our stay. We just had a few problems. We requested 2 queens ended up with 1 king which was not as comfortable. The room was clean at the beginning, but was not maintained as well day to day.

Hotel is a nice place to stay while at Daytona. The indoor swimming pool needs some work. I have been there twice before and the same problem with the jacuzzi (needs upkeep). Rooms are comfortable, especially since most have a kitchen with utensils and all (very convenient). Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and the pricing is affordable for the kind of hotel it is.
