Nice Hotel at a Low Price
Good experience with this hotel. Price was reasonable. Very nice staff upgraded our room to one with a beautiful view since the room wasn’t booked. Rooms were clean, although somewhat dated, but that’s expected for a converted Victorian mansion in the UK. Hotel was very beautiful from the outside and the grounds were very pretty. Seemed to be a nice spot for weddings. Nothing really seemed in walking distance, but we had a rental car and our main purpose was a place to stay on our way to Stonehenge. Breakfast was included and was good.

Lovely location!
Excellent choice close to the city center but with a "country feel". Views of the cathedral and relaxing vistas of the fields and river.

Needs a facelift
Our rooms and the grounds were lovely, but the public areas of the hotel need a major makeover. The tablecloth in the dining room was dirty when we sat down to dinner and dirty the next morning at breakfast.
