Comfort Inn - Appropriately named!

This was a surprisingly comfortable hotel. Very quiet and subdued in a very pleasant neighborhood.

A little run down but certainly not a bad place to stay

This is an older place but well kept up and clean. Great location in DC and probably unbeatable price and location combo. My one complaint would be that the free wireless connection was barely reaching my room and dropped often.

This hotel is very well situated if you want to visit the Mall, the main museums, the White House, the Capitol etc. I was satisfied of the comfortand the cleanliness of the hotel

Good Value Near Convention Center

The price was right. Just a five minute walk to the convention center (which is also the nearest subway station). Typical motel type breakfast.

i stayed for only a night. clean rooms and a good breakfast. 4 blocks from the convention center. the elevators need some ventilation though.

Well located and reasonable

The hotel has an estrategic location, next to subway and restaurants. Maintenance should be improved - hotel looks very old. We stayed in a very large room - very confortable - however there was no elevator to this floor.

Internet Service

The internet service did not work during my stay at the Hotel.

GOOD VALUE FOR THE LOCATION AND OFFERINGS

Pleasant staff and priced right for being in Washington. You may need to walk a little or cab to some locations but with the price point, this hotel works fine

Great location for the price

For downtown DC, this hotel was a great deal. The staff couldn’t have been nicer! The room was quite small, but comfortable. Your car is valet parked off site, so they recommended we call about 45 minutes ahead and it worked very well. I would stay here again.

Comfort Inn DC convention center

The room is very clean. The location is also very convinient. The breakfast is pretty good. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if I need to come to DC again.

bang for your buck

If the Comfort Inn had a restaurant on the site, it would have 3-4 stars. the good: free breakfast, near convention center, well appointed rooms, price! the bad: small rooms, wardrobe..no closet. We will use them next year.

small rooms, not good for more than two in a room. pack light. DC cabs are costly, they meter and zone and add $3 per passenger .. can cost 10 for two to go a half mile.

Not a 5 star hotel by any means but a decent and clean place to stay that was quite and had a nice breakfast. I really liked the coffee and cookies in the lobby. I would stay there again.

Good value for the price

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is old and needs some minor updating, but was well kept and clean (including my room) and is very convenient to public transit and major attractions. The neighborhood was decent, mostly residential, but as with any major city be aware after dark. Free wireless in the room and free access to a printer in the lobby, as well as the free breakfast are all a plus.

Service was good. The room was very clean and spacious. Great for short or long term stay. Good location. Walking distance from the Mall. Breakfast is very good. I would stay here again without thinking twice.

Great Stay in Washington

I found this Hotel to be ideal in terms of the room size and furnishings, proximity to the centre of the city and the national institutions, and the helpfulness of the staff. Breakfast was included in a comfortable dining room and wireless internet access. Hot coffee and newspapers in the foyer at all times were a bonus.

not impressed

My stay at the hotel was just okay. The first room that I was assigned to dirty and smelled. Thank God the staff was friendly, they graciously agreed to move me to another room as soon as one was available. The parking situation was the worst. We had to wait forty minutes for the valet to return our car. The hotel would not allow us to retrieve our own vehicle which was very frustrating. Overall if you need some place to lay your head it will do but you won’t get much more then that.

Just the basics w/breakfast

The Comfort Inn is convenient to many Washington DC activities and attractions, especially the convention center. The area was quiet for a downtown hotel. The rooms are not big but have most conveniences; coffee maker and hair dryer and internet. The carpeting and decorating could stand an upgrade but it was clean.

Traveler's tip for business travelers

Metro stop is Convention Center on the Yellow line so easy from Reagan International Airport,but a 4 block walk from the Metro stop.
