The Gaiola coast, where Oscar Wilde once had a villa overlooking the sea, is a Marine Protected Area (MPA) due to its historical and natural significance. This tour starts at the Gaiola visitor centre before heading out of the harbour and continuing along the coast. Your guide will point out the natural, archaeological, and volcanic features that make this area a fascinating study of intersections: between the ancient and modern world, the natural and the manmade.|
