Explore the capital of Maryland and its monuments, mansions, naval academy, and more on the Segway, an upright motorized scooter. A detailed training session is held first, and then the tour begins. Both the one-hour Mini Safari and the two-hour City Safari cruise the historic district of Annapolis, and both are led by guides ready to provide general information, historical facts, and plenty of photo opportunities along the way. But the City Safari visits the maritime district of Eastport as well, and City Safari riders also get to experience the full range of the Segway, gliding at 12 mph in some of the more secluded areas of town.

    Mini Safari: 12:30 PM, 4:30 PM
    City Safari: 10 AM, 2 PM

    City Safari: noon, 4 PM

    Participant restrictions:
    Participants must be at least 14 years old, and participants between the ages of 14 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants must weigh less than 270 pounds (122.5 kg), and be able to stand upright. A valid credit card is required for the damage deposit. Participants are required to take the training session, held by a Segs in the City representative.

    Approximate driving times:
    1 hour from Baltimore
    1 1/2 hours from Frederick and Chesapeake City
    2 hours from Hagerstown

    Note:
    Reservation confirmation is required. You will not be guaranteed a place on this tour without contacting Segs in the City at least 48 hours prior to your desired tour date and time. Group size for each tour is limited in order to ensure a safe experience. Tour operation is subject to weather conditions.

    All customers/participants are required to sign liability waivers before participating in this activity.
    • Redemption instructions
    After you book your activity, follow these 3 easy steps:
    1. Print your voucher; locate the voucher in your travel confirmation e-mail or in the My Trips/My Itineraries link on the site.
    2. Follow the redemption instructions on your voucher; it iscritical to do this before you depart.
    3. Take all vouchers with you; you must redeem one voucher per person.

    Exchange your voucher for activity:
    Reservation confirmation is required. You will not be guaranteed a place on this tour without contacting Segs in the City at least 48 hours prior to your desired tour date and time. The customer service phone number appears on your printed voucher(s). On the day of your tour, please present your voucher(s), valid photo identification, and a valid credit card at the redemption address listed on your printed voucher(s). Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time of your activity.
    Terms and conditions
    Participants must weight less than 270 pounds (122.5 kg), and be able to stand upright. The minimum age for this tour is 14 years old, and participants between the ages of 14 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.All customers/participants are required to sign liability waivers before participating in this activity.

    Cancellations and Changes: This Activity can be changed or cancelled without penalty at any time prior to two days before the scheduled start of your trip. The scheduled start of your trip is defined as your hotel check-in date, your departure date of the originating flight, or the date of the Activity if the Activity was booked without a flight or a hotel.
