This enriching tour takes you to explore one of the seven wonders of the ancient world—The Great Wall. The construction of the wall began in the 5th century BC, and today stands at approximately 4,500 miles (7,245 km) long. You'll visit the Badaling section, one of the best-preserved sections of the wall. Climb up and you’ll soon see how this enormous structure is visible from space. Then, stop at the Ming tombs, where red and yellow-lacquered roofs shelter the remains of 13 Ming Dynasty emperors. Visit the largest of the 13 tombs, the Changling Tomb, and see the treasures unearthed from the burial chamber. Before returning to your hotel, you'll visit a jade factory where you'll learn about this symbolic stone and see how it is carved. Lunch is included in this tour.
