Start your tour at Tiananmen Square with an informative overview of the communist and Mao’s influences on the country. Tour the grounds and view the array of impressive halls and monuments. From there move on to the Forbidden City, also known as the Imperial Palace Museum. With over 180 acres (73 hectares) of grounds and collections of great halls, the museum is home to antiques and treasures representing all of China's history. You’ll have plenty of time for an in-depth tour of this fascinating location.
After a delicious included lunch, continue to the most holy imperial temple in Beijing, the Temple of Heaven. Every winter solstice the emperor would come to the temple to worship heaven and pray for a good harvest. One of Beijing’s most visited sites, the Temple of Heaven is also China’s largest temple and altar complex and an extraordinary example of architecture that dates back to the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
A special treat awaits you at the temple where you’ll enjoy a traditional Chinese tea ceremony in the temple’s tea house. On the return to your hotel, you will have the option to stop at the Pearl Market.

After you book your activity, follow these 3 easy steps:
1. Print your voucher; locate the voucher in your travel confirmation e-mail or in the My Trips/My Itineraries link on the site.
2. Follow the redemption instructions on your voucher; it is critical to do this before you depart.
3. Take all vouchers with you; you must redeem one voucher per person.
Exchange your voucher for activity:
Reservation confirmation is required. Please contact Myway Beijing at least 48 hours prior to your preferred tour date to confirm your reservation and arrange hotel pick-up time and location. Upon pick-up, present your voucher(s) and photo ID in exchange for service. |
