The morning section of the tour includes a visit to Shanti Vana, the "forest of peace," where both Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first Prime Minister, were cremated. India's largest mosque, the Jama Masjid, is on the itinerary as well; it was built in the 17th century by 5,000 artisans. The tour also drives past the Lal Quila, or the Red Fort, which also dates to back to the 17th century, and Chandni Chowk, the market center of Old Delhi.

In the afternoon, the tour visits Qutub Minar, the highest tower in India. Made of sandstone, it has a diameter of roughly 14 meters (46 ft) at its base and stands approximately 73 meters (240 ft) high. Also on the afternoon schedule are Humayun's Tomb, also known as the Garden Tomb, the India Gate, a memorial to Indian soldiers killed in World War I, and Laxminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu temple. The President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings, and Connaught Place are driven by as well.

Redemption instructions

When you reserve your activities and services you will be asked to print vouchers and take them along on your trip.Note: In groups of two or more people, you must present a corresponding number of vouchers upon arrival in your destination. One voucher per person. You will also be able to access your vouchers in your online itinerary once your booking is confirmed.

How to redeem your voucher(s):
Reservation confirmation required. You will not be guaranteed a place on this tour without contacting Services International at least 24 hours prior to your arrival to confirm your tour date and time. The customer service number appears on your printed voucher. Pick up from select hotels can be arranged; upon pick-up, present your voucher(s) to the driver. You also may meet the tour at the redemption address listed on your voucher; present your voucher(s) to the tour representative. If meeting at the redemption address, please arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time of tour.

Cancellations and Changes: This Activity can be changed or cancelled without penalty at any time prior to two days before the scheduled start of your trip. The scheduled start of your trip is defined as your hotel check-in date, your departure date of the originating flight, or the date of the Activity if the Activity was booked without a flight or a hotel.
