The award-winning Alexander Keith's Nova Scotia Brewery Tour provides a blend of fact and fiction. Walk through the detailed home and brewhouse of Alexander Keith and travel back in time to when Halifax was bustling with soldiers, sailors, and even a privateer or two. Guided by animators dressed in period costume, the great brewmaster will come to life in sound and story. Listen to toe-tapping music, play games, and sample Mr. Keith's finest brewed right on the premises. After the tour, visit the general store for the largest selection of Alexander Keith merchandise in Canada. All ages are welcome; this tour is enjoyable for the young and the young in spirit.

Summer tour hours (May 24–Oct. 31):
  • Mon.–Thurs., 11 AM–8 PM
  • Fri. and Sat., 11 AM–9 PM
  • Sun., noon–6 PM

    Winter tour hours (Nov. 1–Dec. 31):
  • Fri., 5 PM–9 PM
  • Sat., noon–9 PM
  • Sun., noon–4 PM

    Note:
    Tour is partially wheelchair accessible; please call in advance for assistance and information. Children age 5 and under participate for free. When you redeem your voucher, you will receive a 15% discount per person on merchandise purchased in the retail shop of Alexander Keith's Nova Scotia Brewery. This discount offering does not apply to alcoholic beverage purchases.

    After you book your activity, follow these 3 easy steps:
    1. Print your voucher; locate the voucher in your travel confirmation e-mail or in the My Trips/My Itineraries link on the site.
    2. Follow the redemption instructions on your voucher; it iscritical to do this before you depart.
    3. Take all vouchers with you; you must redeem one voucher per person.

    Exchange your voucher for activity:
    Although reservations are not required, they are strongly recommended to ensure that the date and time of your tour is available. Upon arrival in Halifax, please contact Alexander Keith's Nova Scotia Brewery at the number listed on your voucher at least 24 hours prior to your preferred date of tour. Present your voucher(s) along with photo ID at the redemption address listed on your voucher 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time of tour.

    Cancellations and Changes: This Activity can be changed or cancelled without penalty at any time prior to two days before the scheduled start of your trip. The scheduled start of your trip is defined as your hotel check-in date, your departure date of the originating flight, or the date of the Activity if the Activity was booked without a flight or a hotel.
