The story of Haleothe Voice of Lifecelebrates the history of the Keauhou ahupua'a (subdivision of land) and the heart of those who came from this area. From the birth of Kamehameha III to the surfing stories of He'eia Bay, the dancers and musicians of Island Breeze take you on a spectacular journey through a special time in Hawaiian history. Learn about the Kuamo'o Battle and how King Kamehameha III bridged the gap between ancient treasures and traditions while bringing his people into a new era.|

Enjoy the opportunity to meet the dancers before the show, "talk story," and learn more about Hawaiian language and culture. Dine on delicious Hawaiian dishes while listening to live music. And, just as the sun is setting over Keauhou Bay, "Haleo" begins.

Held under the Hala trees, on the southern shores of Keauhou Bay, this resort boasts 22 spectacular acres. Dine in one of Hawai'i's most beautiful oceanfront locationsa gathering place for manta rays surrounded by outrigger canoes, breaching whales, world renown sunsets, and living history. This is a significant land area in Hawaiian history, and specifically to Kamehameha and his heirs. The birthplace of Kamehameha III, the playground for Hawai'i's ali'i (royalty), Keauhou is a place of new beginnings; in English, its name translates to "new era".
