The most famous façade in Hobart, Cascade Brewery is perfectly situated to craft an ideal beer. Built in 1824 and set against the majestic backdrop of Mt. Wellington, the brewery is constantly supplied with pure springwater runoff from the mountain and fresh air—both key ingredients for a great brew. Your 1 1/2 hour guided tour visits the malting house, bottling line, brewing facility, and Australian heritage-listed cottage gardens. After your behind-the-scenes tour, take the opportunity to quench your thirst with your favorite premium brewed beers in the Cascade Bar and Café. Three beers (or Cascade’s traditional soft drinks for those younger than age 18) are included in your brewery experience.

4 tours daily

Departure and return location:
9 AM, 9:30 AM, 1 PM, and 1:30 PM; from the Cascade Visitor's Centre

Return time and location:
Approx. 11 AM, 11:30 AM, 3 PM, and 3:30 PM; to the departure point

Note:
The bottling line will not be in operation for tours on Sat., Sun., or public holidays. This tour is not suitable for children younger than age 5 due to health and safety requirements. Non-alcoholic ginger beer is served to those younger than age 18. This tour is of a fully operational brewery, please wear flat, fully-enclosed footwear, and full-length pants (no skirts or shorts).
Redemption instructions
After you book your activity, follow these 3 easy steps:
1. Print your voucher; locate the voucher in your travel confirmation e-mail or in the My Trips/My Itineraries link on the site.
2. Follow the redemption instructions on your voucher; it iscritical to do this before you depart.
3. Take all vouchers with you; you must redeem one voucher per person.

Exchange your voucher for activity:
Reservation confirmation is required. Please contact Cascade Visitor's Center at least 48 hours prior to your preferred tour date to ensure your reservation and arrange either a morning or afternoon tour. Upon arrival at the redemption location, present your ID and voucher(s) in exchange for your tour.
