Your luxury A-Star helicopter soars over the best of Kauai’s natural treasures including tropical rain forests, waterfalls, and sea cliffs. Fly into the crater at the top of Mt. Wai’ale’ale* for views of the Wailing Wall’s numerous waterfalls, cascading more than 2,000 feet (609 meters) down. From the crater, its on to Hanapepe Valley—site of Manawaipuni Falls, made famous in the first Jurassic Park film. Soar into Waimea Canyon for views of Waimea Bay, the landing site of Captain Cook in 1778.

From Waimea Bay, you’ll fly into the spectacular Kalalau Valley for views of an ancient Hawaiian civilization, including the remains of house sites and tar patches. On your return, you’ll fly past Bali Hai, seen in the film version of South Pacific. It’s then back to the historic Princeville Airport, seen in the Kevin Costner film Dragon Fly.

Multiple departures daily; your Hawaii Activity Specialist will schedule a time with you after booking. Flights depart from the Princeville Airport.

Participant restrictions:
For passenger safety, single passengers exceeding 250 pounds (113.4 kg) or couples exceeding 450 pounds (204 kg) combined are required to purchase an additional seat. All passengers must be at least 2 years old and weigh a minimum of 35 pounds (15.8 kg).

Children under 2 are not allowed. Routes may be affected by weather conditions. This flight is approximately 65 miles (105 km).

Redemption instructions

After you book your activity, follow these 3 easy steps:
1. Print
your voucher; locate the voucher in your travel confirmation e-mail or in the My Trips/My Itineraries link on the site.
2. Follow the redemption instructions on your voucher; it is critical to do this before you depart.
3. Take all vouchers with you; you must redeem one voucher per person.

Exchange your voucher for activity:
Within 72 hours of booking this activity you will receive an e-mail from a Local Expert™ Activity Specialist. Your Hawaii Activity Specialist will confirm your chosen activity with the local operator and provide you with confirmation information. The e-mail will also contain directions to the nearest Local Expert™ desk where you will exchange your voucher(s) for activity tickets. Please be prepared to show photo identification. If you do not receive an e-mail or have other questions, please contact Local Expert™ directly; the customer service phone number will appear on your voucher(s).Note: Your printed voucher is proof of your online booking; it is not a valid admission ticket.
