Wheelchair-accessible vehicles must be specially requested in advance and are subject to an additional fee. If you require a vehicle to accommodate a wheelchair passenger, please call Diamond Head Vacations to make arrangements. Due to liability concerns, Diamond Head Vacations' drivers are not permitted to assist guests into or out of the vehicles, so if the person(s) in the wheelchair(s) are not able to do so on their own or with the aid of their traveling companion(s), Diamond Head Vacations will not be able to provide service to them. The wheelchair-accessible vehicle holds up to 4 passengers, however the number of people arriving on a given flight may change the type of vehicle used; the vehicle may be a van, mini-bus, motor coach, or in some cases, a sedan.
Upon arrival you'll be presented with an invitation to attend a 2-hour breakfast and island orientation. Here you'll be offered travel tips, optional tours of Hilo Hattie and Maui Divers Jewelry Design Center, and a discount dining card good at select restaurants throughout the state. Free roundtrip transportation between your Waikiki-area hotel and the breakfast location is available.
A 2-person minimum is required for transfers to Kahala.
|After you book your transfer, follow these 3 easy steps:|
1. Print your voucher; locate the voucher in your travel confirmation e-mail or in the My Trips/My Itineraries link on the site.
2. Follow the redemption instructions on your voucher; it iscritical to do this before you depart.
3. Take all vouchers with you; you must redeem one voucher per person.
Please note: You must call Diamond Head Vacations at the number printed on your voucher at least 48 hours prior to your arrival to confirm this transfer.
Note: It is your responsibility to inform the ground transportation operator if you miss your flight or change your itinerary. Please do so immediately so that the ground transportation operator can plan for the time of your pick-up. Please use the customer service phone number listed on the voucher.
Exchange your voucher for transfer:
Airport to hotel: Your Diamond Head Vacations representative will meet you either your arrivals gate or at baggage claim. Please present your voucher(s) in exchange for return trip coupon(s) with pick-up time listed. Your representative will then transfer you and your baggage to the shuttle.
Hotel to airport: transfer shuttle will pick you up from your hotel in Waikiki. Please be ready at least 10 minutes prior to your arranged pick-up time.
