This tour heads north into Nayarit state via the Pacific Coast Highway, passing through the small villages and plantations that supply Puerto Vallarta with bananas, papayas, pineapples, and mangoes. Once the Tovara River is reached, the group transfers to small boats for a tour through the channels winding through the mangroves; an abundance of exotic birds, wild orchids, trop fish, turtles, and even crocodiles live here. Next on the itinerary is a first-century Spanish fortress, built to ward off pirate attacks. Then it's on to San Blas—once a major seaport—for lunch before beginning the return journey.

You must call at least 24 hours prior to your desired date of service. Participants should wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Cameras, sunblock, sunglasses, hats, and money for incidental expenses also are recommended. This tour is not suited for individuals staying in the Nuevo Vallarta area. Please arrive at the departure point at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

2. Follow the redemption instructions on your voucher; it iscritical to do this before you depart.
3. Take all vouchers with you; you must redeem one voucher per person.

You must callat least 24 hours prior to your desired date of service. The customer service phone number appears on your printed voucher(s). Present one voucher per person, along with photo identification, to the Emark Vallarta representative at the departure point; please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

Cancellations and Changes: This Activity can be changed or cancelled without penalty at any time prior to two days before the scheduled start of your trip. The scheduled start of your trip is defined as your hotel check-in date, your departure date of the originating flight, or the date of the Activity if the Activity was booked without a flight or a hotel.
